About Pamela Flores, LPC

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Delaware, New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Texas. I have been practicing since 2019 with a mix of populations from children, adults, and families in a variety of settings, including in-home, community mental health clinics, and virtual college counseling. I currently only provide counseling via telehealth at this time.

I made a major career change to the world of counseling after finding it difficult throughout my life to find a counselor who had similar identities to me as an Asian American female child of immigrants. I identify as a second generation Filipino American female and find my lived and professional experiences add value to your therapeutic experience. I tailor my work with each person based on your needs through a personable and compassionate style with the intention to help challenge you in reaching your goals in your own time. Our sessions will leave you with a sense of validation, hope, and resilience in embracing who you are and the tremendous impact you have in this world.

I have specialized training in supporting the needs of BIPOC, LGBTQ+, TGNC, first generation and immigrant individuals who may be experiencing anxiety and depression symptoms due to various challenges in their life, such as trauma, difficulties with interpersonal relationships, and life transitions. I also have a strong interest in helping adult children of immigrants navigate the generational challenges experienced within their sense of self, their relationships, and their family systems.
